Third-Party Authentication

If you sign in via Google or Apple, we receive your name, email, and profile picture as permitted by those services. We do not receive or store your passwords from these providers.

3. AI-Powered Features

We use artificial intelligence (OpenAI) to generate organization recommendations and match scores. Your organization's public profile information (name, mission, category, location, size, and resources) may be sent to our AI provider to generate these recommendations. No private messages or personal authentication data are shared with AI services.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:

• With Other Users: Your organization profile and posts are visible to other Catalyze users.
• Service Providers: We use third-party services for hosting (AWS), authentication (Google, Apple), AI recommendations (OpenAI), and SMS delivery (Twilio).
• Legal Requirements: When required by law, regulation, or legal process.
• Safety: To protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or the public.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the United States. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), hashed passwords (bcrypt), and JWT-based authentication. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
